Everything you need, nothing more
One purpose, done well: knowing how long a collection of videos is without opening them one by one.
The grand total at a glance
A single number for the whole folder, for example 2h49m, with the count of videos and folders analyzed.
Expandable per-folder report
Each folder shows its duration; open it to see the individual files. Sorting is natural: 2 comes before 10.
Rename with the duration
Adds the duration to the folder name, for example “Photography Course (2h49m)”, so you see it in the Finder too.
M3U playlists
Creates a playlist for every folder with videos, with the duration in the file name, ready for VLC and other players.
Save, copy, reload
Save the report as a text file, copy it to the clipboard, or reload it next time without recalculating.
In your control
Choose which extensions to include, hide folders without videos, and work from the keyboard: ⌘O open, ⌘R calculate, ⌘S save.
